It’s hard to deny it: sometimes, it’s difficult to sit down and start blogging. I’ll keep this post short for today.
This week, I’m having an internal conflict with respect to beauty minimalism. How am I a minimalist when I’m touting products left, right, and centre? Am I still a minimalist? What is minimalism? Is this too existential for this blog?
I think striving towards having less on my face is symbolic of wanting fewer things in my life and feeling content with less. My generation upholds minimalism and having fewer things, but often makes exceptions. To me, my face and body are not exceptions. My philosophy is that you only get one body and mind for life, so it’s best to take care of it as best you can. This includes the skin on your face, haha.
And remember, folks, your body eats what you put on your skin!
How’s this post for minimalist?
